Oh what a day in this adventure know as my life. I have been working on Christmas Angel Ornaments for the last couple of weeks, I love these little babies. What a wonderful addition the will make to Christmas Trees this year. The most exciting part of my week has been locating the Crete for my Nativity......... a local wood worker makes the most wonderful Cretes that I have ever seen.
In the process I have also been drying some of the shucks and all of the silks from the corn that has been harvested so far this year. Waiting for the shucks to dry is the hardest part for me, as I love using fresh corn shucks for my little dolls. To explain this, fresh shucks are super soft and very easy to work with. As I continue this blog I will give you insight into the art of corn shuck doll and flower making from my own view point.
